Portion size is fantastic, more then fair. I eat here a few times a month and service is ALWAYS exceptional. Have all my birthdays here as well!
Went there last week with my family .
The reception was very bad people force you to sit on the place that they want .
Asked to change my place then one of the employees had a real bad reaction about it .
Why ? And what wrong with them.!?
My reason was because I have 1 year old babe with me and do not want him to be on the way where writers walks and people.
On Oct 17 2011 I visited your restaurant on Kenmount Road in the City of St. John's, NL. We all enjoyed the meal and service. When I paid for the meal I only received a receipt that showed the total amount of the bill, there was no detail breakdown of our orders and associatated prices. This was a business trip and I was supposed to obtain this detailed receipt for reimbursement (my fault totally). I was wondering if there was any way to receive the meal breakdown invoice from that night.
As we often enjoy the food at Montana's, we ventured there Saturday(Feb.5th) evening for supper. After some delicious appetizers and during our main course, we experienced something unusual. I thought the "manager" (not sure if he is- wears a blue-ish long sleeved shirt, different from the rest of the staff) was checking on a tables food, when I realized the customer was in fact choking. In what seemed to be an automatic reflex, this employee immediately starting giving the customer the Heimlich Maneuver, and within a few hard thrusts, the lemon flew out of his mouth.
It was amazing to see this happen so quickly, but this "manager" calmly and quickly took this situation under control. I shook this man's hand, but forgot to get his name. Leaving with our bellies quite full and surly satisfied, I could not let the night pass without giving this amazing employee some credit. He then just continued to greet the other customers as if nothing happened. Amazing. Kudos to this man- please pass along the well deserved credit! All of the staff at Montanas are great, it is hard to find good customer service these days, but these employees do their job well!
I found the greeting excellent,table service efficient but i am somewhat disappointed in having been served white (frozen type) french fries,somewhat i would expect being served from a lower end restaurant/fast food type.I requested them to be brown/crispy and they brought the same fries out hot-must have put them in the microwave-instead of giving me another serving .thanks but no thanks anymore.
We went to the resturant were told it would be a thirty min wait.. we waited for about twenty mins and got a table.A waitress took our order as soon as we were ready,our order took about 15 to 20 mins to get there ,which i though was excellent for a busy place.my girlfriend and myself both had steaks which melted in our mouths.the best i ever had by far.. keep up the good work .
I was at this restaurant on August 10/2008. When we arrived we were told it would be a 35 to 45 minute wait for a table, we chose to wait. When we did get our table it was only a few minutes and the waitress took our order. From the time our order was taken to the time we received our meal it was 1 hour and 5 minutes. A bit much. I had ordered the strip loin steak and when it came it was tough and cold, the best thing about the meal was the steamed vegetables. this was my first visit and my last,sorry guys. my son had wings that wre not cooked thoroughly, he could not eat them
